Before the Conference
Participants who require a visa for the UK may request a letter of invitation to facilitate visa procedures. the Middle East Centre at LSE and BRISMES are not responsible for arranging the visa and each participant must ensure that they apply for the required visa on time and meet all requirements for the visa process.

Letter of Participation
Participants who require a letter of their participation in the BRISMES conference may request a confirmation of their attendance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please state the affiliation the letter is needed for, as well as the level of participation at the conference (i.e. chair, presenter or attendee).
During the Conference
The conference registration and information desk will be located on the ground floor at the entrance of the NAB. Registration will be open on the following times:
- Monday 26 March: 8.00 – 11.00
- Tuesday 27 March: 8.00 – 9.00
- Wednesday 28 March: 8.00 – 9.00
Name badges will be provided at the registration desk. It is advisable to wear your badge at all times during the conference.
Change of programme
There may be last-minute changes of the conference programme. Information will be regularly updated online.
LSE operates a strict non-smoking policy inside its premises. Designated smoking areas are located outside the building.
Cloaks and Valuables
A cloakroom will be available throughout the conference. Belongings cannot be left in the cloakroom overtime and LSE or BRISMES cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the valuables left in there.
Printing and Photocopying
There are no printing or photocopying services provided during the conference. The Student Union Shop, located on the ground floor of the NAB, offers photocopying, printing from USB memory sticks and binding services. Please check their website for more details.
Wireless internet access will be available over the 3-day period. Usernames and passwords will be given during registration.
Lunch, coffee and tea will be available to all conference delegates. These will be set in the Lower Ground of the NAB at times indicated in the conference programme. An additional fee of £60 is charged for the Conference Dinner on Monday 26 March 2012, at Lincoln’s Inn. Those registered for the conference dinner will receive a voucher along with their name badges, that they will need to provide at the entrance.

A prayer room is available on campus. Please ask any member of the conference team for assistance and directions.
